The nearly two hundred members of Sioux Falls Noon Sertoma take an active role in their many service to mankind projects. Programs to assist persons with hearing and speech problems have long been a tradition in our Club. Annually members of the Sioux Falls Noon Sertoma Club help to test the first, third and fifth grade students in all public and parochial schools in Sioux Falls and the surrounding area.

The Club's newest project is the development of the Sertoma Butterfly House at Sertoma Park. This facility provides a year around tropical environment for the exhibit of hundreds of exotic butterflies in lush natural foliage. Much of the work in completing this project was done by Sertomans.

Club members painted, landscaped, moved dirt and helped plant the hundreds of plants that are the home for the butterflies. Other members contributed their professional skills in the building trades, project finance and web design. Members and their families also donate their time hosting visitors, caring for the exhibits and helping to provide educational programs.

The Sertoma Butterfly House is open year around and has become a major attraction in the Sioux Falls area. Click on the banner below for more information.
